Catherine of Siena by A.T. Pierson

Catherine of Siena

This is a biography of Catherine of Siena (1347-1380), a lay member of the Dominican order, who deeply influenced both the secular and church leaders of her day.

This copy of the book has an interesting pedigree, having been presented by the author Dr A.T. Pierson to the Rev. F.B. Meyer. The inscription on the flyleaf reads:

To my dearly beloved MEYER from his true yokefellow, PIERSON

This unique copy is held in Spurgeon’s College library.
