This is a biography of Catherine of Siena (1347-1380), a lay member of the Dominican order, who deeply influenced both the secular and church leaders of her day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This copy of the book has an interesting pedigree, having been presented by the author Dr A.T. Pierson to the Rev. F.B. Meyer. The inscription on the flyleaf reads:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To my dearly beloved MEYER from his true yokefellow, PIERSON<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
